Arts and crafts describes a wide variety of activities involving making things with one’s own hands. Arts and crafts is usually a hobby. Some crafts (art skills) have been practised for centuries, others are more recent inventions. Both children and adults enjoy arts and crafts.
Music lessons are a type of formal instruction in a musical instrument or singing. Typically, a student taking music lessons meets a music teacher for one-on-one training sessions ranging from 30 minutes to one hour in length over a period of weeks or years.
Dance is a performing art form consisting of purposefully selected sequences of human movement. This movement has aesthetic and symbolic value, and is acknowledged as dance by performers and observers within a particular culture.
A library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. It provides physical or digital access to material, and may be a physical building or room, or a virtual space, or both.
A pre-school playgroup, or in everyday usage just a playgroup, is an organised group providing care and socialisation for children under five. The term is widely used in the United Kingdom. Playgroups are less formal than the pre-school education of nursery schools.
Academy has fully equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The students are advised to make maximum use of these laboratories to acquire a broader understanding of each subject and to develop practical skills. Laboratories equipment is expensive and so, must be carefully handed. When equipment is given out to students for experiments, is must handed back to the teacher in charge before leaving the laboratory.
Computer education is a part of the students curriculum from I-XII even the students of pre-primary are given one day for computers in a week. The school has two computer laboratories one for the junior section and one for senior. The computer laboratories are fully equipped with the latest in computer technology and software. Each students is allotted his own worktable.
